Michaela Slamka graduated from the University of Missouri- St. Louis with degrees in Music Education and Music Theory. She sings tenor in the two time World Mixed Quartet Champion quartet, Double Date. She also sings in the Sweet Adeline International finalist chorus, Spirit of the Gulf. Michaela also sings tenor in the 2014 Rising Star Champion and 2015 finalist quartet ClassRing. 

Michaela is a fourth generation barbershopper and has been singing in quartets since she was 13 years old. Her father, Mike Slamka, is the lead of Crossroads, the 2009 BHS International champions. Her father also won the BHS International back in 2003 in Power Play, along with her grandfather, and two uncles. Michaela Currently lives in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband Nathan and her dog Tag.
